Peter Conlon, Owner
Vermont Move Management came about because of owner Peter Conlon's experience helping members of his family move and downsize. After moving his grandmother, mother, and mother-in-law numerous times over the past two decades, including working with estate sale professionals, auctioneers, and real estate agents, Peter saw the need for senior move management, and move management in general.
Peter Conlon is a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers and has years of experience in moving and downsizing since he worked his way through college at an East Coast moving company.
Peter’s wife, Mary, a professional daily money manager, also encouraged Peter to enter the business after she saw the challenges many seniors and their families face in moving and downsizing – especially moves to assisted living communities – when the adult children live far away and are very busy with their own lives.
Peter is a lifelong Vermonter, former Peace Corps volunteer, journalist and agricultural labor consultant.
